Thank you for your continued support.
Regarding the MPQ4242GVE-0000-AEC1-Z that we have purchased from your company, we contacted you to request a technical confirmation regarding the specifications of the ONE TIME PROGRAM (OTP) function.
Currently, we are checking the following description in the datasheet.
Bits Name: D[7] OTP_PROGRAM
Default: 0x0
Description:
Configures the I2C register value into the OTP memory cell.
A password is required before using the OTP.
The OTP can be configured once. Only the MPQ4242-0000 and
OTP_PAGE = 0 can be used to configure the OTP.
Write 1 to this bit to implement OTP configurations.
After configuring is complete, this bit automatically resets to 0.
Apply a 12V VIN while configuring the OTP.
In the above description,
“A password is required before using the OTP”
is written, but
- the specific content of the password
- the setting method (registers, sequence, etc.)
are not described, and we have not been able to confirm them.
Therefore, we would like to ask you the following points:
- The specification and setting method of the password required when writing OTP
- The procedure to fix the initial value (I2C register value) using OTP
- Precautions during execution (voltage conditions, method to check writing, etc.)
In order to consider settings with mass production in mind, I would like to understand the method to reliably fix the initial values. If you have any manufacturer documents or application notes, I would be grateful if you could provide them. I apologize for troubling you during your busy schedule, but I sincerely ask for your confirmation.
