I am developing a system with a battery, adaptor, charger, and boost converter for a lighting system.
I selected the MP2626 for a 1-Cell Li-ion battery.
The block diagram of the part of the system is like this:
There are 3 questions here, which I could not find a clear answer in the datasheet.
- Did I connect the booster to the PMID pins correctly?
- There is an adaptor connected to the input and it charges the battery, what is the voltage of the PMID pin while the battery is charging?
- If there is no battery connected to the battery charger and just the adaptor is connected, does the system still work? I mean does the internal MOSFET connect the input to PMID pins while the input voltage is present?
