This is a good question, what is the IC that you are looking to program? It looks like the UART dongle you mentioned is usually applied to one of our AC/DC products. Is this the case for you?

While most of our digitally interface parts use the Virtual Bench Pro 4.0 GUI, but there are others that require their own GUI. Let me know.

MPS recommends the HR1211 as there are more available resources while not trading off in application.

The two parts have the same package, but the exact pins on each of the packages are not the same. I would encourage you to review the datasheet to see if the part covers all areas for your application.

I believe that the GUI for the HR1211 should be compatible with the HR1270 ICs and all materials included in the EVKT-UART-01A. Please check your email associated with your account.
