It will be the same GUI as the HR1211, which is a UART based GUI just like the HR1270. It is referenced in this article:

What parameters do I need to enter to configure the HR1270 PWM that will be installed in the TV power supply?

A few questions and comments first:

  • Since the HR1270 can accept both DC and AC inputs, what kind of power supply is this? If it is a DC Input, you would need to pay attention to the minimum input voltage for startup purposes. Check the VCC start threshold, UVLO, and HV pin requirements.

  • Does the TV Power Supply Unit have an isolated output? (I’d assume yes, but just checking).

  • Most TV Power Supply rails have significant switching noise. Have you evaluated this with your supply? If so you may need an input filter.

  • Do the grounding and feedback structures conflict in this case?

  • Finally, what is the power rating?
