Hello MPS team. I’ve noticed that MP2315 is not recommended for new designs and MP2393 is recommended as an alternative. There is also MP2315S part which is still active. Is there a significant difference between them? Should I consider it as substitution instead of MP2393?

The only difference of MP2315 and MP2315S is semiconductor process.
But I will still recommend MP2393. Because MP2393 has lower Rds_on, smaller package and higher switching frequency. If you still want to use MP2315S it will be fine and it will not cause any problems.
