What is difference between old MP1652H & new MP1652N

Hello

I cannot find any documentation about OBSOLETE MP1652H (??? MHz), which is officially

used in Qualcomm Reference Designs, and I want to know if I can replace it directly with

your ACTIVE MP1652N (1.1 MHz) chip.

What is the difference between them ?

Thank you very much

Hello @EW0 ,

Thank you for posting your question in the MPS Technical Forum.

The MP1652N is a pin-to-pin compatible part with MP1652H.
Slightly differences include:
Fsw: 1.1MHz (N-Version) vs 1.2MHz (H-Version)
Vin range: 4.5V-16V (N-Version) vs 4.2V-18V (H-Version)
Iq: 110uA (N-Version) vs 200uA (H-Version)

Other than the above mentioned, both parts share the same protection features, package, and output current.

I hope this is helpful.

Regards,
Edgar

Hi Edgar

Thanks for your info, is the MP1652H obsolete or not ?

If the desired Vin is less than 16V, which part is recommended for new designs:

MP1652N or MP1652H ?

Best regards
