Hi,
Is it possible to use an MP6004 to generate a voltage of 1500V (with 40mA out) from 24V or 48V?
Thank for your replies
Hi Philippe,
It would not be possible to use the MP6004 to generate your desired output voltage of 1500V @ 40mA. At your requirement the input current far exceeds the 3A input current limit of this part.
Can you clarify, are your inputs AC or DC?
Best,
Stephen
Thanks for your reply.
My input it is 24V or 48V DC (on choice) and for the current I can go up to 5A. For the output I would like generate 1500V DC at 40mA (I can decrease to 20mA if easiest).
In second way it possible to use 85V to 250V AC for this function.

Hi Philippe,
Thanks for clarifying. With a 24V or 48V DC input, you may have some success using our HR12xx series. This is a series of PFC and LLC controllers.
Using this series, a 24V input can be boosted to about 100V by the PFC, and the VCC can be taken directly from the input voltage. The transformer winding would need to be 1:30.
With an input of 48V for the LLC can be boosted to 200V by the PFC but an additional VCC winding is needed since the upper limit of VCC is 38V. The transformer winding would need to be 1:15.
With an AC input of 85V to 250V the HR1204 could be a viable option. You can use our AC/DC Quick Search Tool to help narrow down your selection.
Hope this helps!
Best,
Stephen
Very great thanks for yours replies.
I will check all yours suggestions
