Does your DC-DC Designer model start-up correctly; for example, would it indicate start-up time violation for increased output capacitance?

Presently, the DC-DC designer does not model start-up. If the output of the buck regulator is greater than or equal to 12V and its soft-start time is fixed internally, check with the factory to ensure the soft-timer will not expire at start-up for a given output capacitance. Depending on the device, we may have SPICE models which model start-up; again check with the factory.
