Socket for MP6908

Hello,

We are planning to evaluate MP6908A devices for our projects, is there any particular socket suggestions for device best performance.
We know best way to get max performance is to solder device on to board.
Any suggestions is greatly appreciated – thanks in advance.

Madness, get an Eval board if you want to evaluate it. If you want to do statistics get 32 eval boards.

Thanks for the reply, unfortunately we can’t use the eval boards in our setup.
We are making our own board for the application with different other parts, do you have any socket suggestions for it?

I’m with Jshannon where getting an MPS eval board truly is the best way for IC evaluation.

However, if your evaluation of the MP6908A needs to be done with other components and you don’t want to evaluate the IC alone with an eval board, then soldering the IC in would be best.
Getting a TSOT23-6 socket on Digi-Key or Mouser would also not be a bad idea either if you plan on testing other ICs with the same package type.

Krishan, There are many TSOT23-6 sockets available in online, it would be helpful if you can point to specific one which would be best for MP6908A.

Any TSOT23-6 socket would be a good one to use. What are you trying to convert to from the TSOT23-6 package? The following embedded link is a listing showing TSOT23-6 to 6DIP.
