I would like to ask that BATTFET of MP2721 can interrupt discharge currents (BATT to SYS flow) too?
I suppose YES, because Output Over-Current Protection (OCP) and Battery Under-Voltage Protection (UVP) has been stated with BATTFET turns off.
In this case I am wonder why there is no discharge protections like OCD, UTD and OTD?
