I want to measure the loop gain and the output impedance of a COT Buck converter and two phase COT buck converter, then compare the measured results and the calculated model. But I find the ramp value and the controller value are not given in the most datasheet… could you guys help me find appropriate EVMS, in which the ramp value should be modified manually . A few ways that we can adjust the manually adjust the ramp value of a COT controlled Buck Converter would be the following:
- Adding a feedforward capacitor such that the slew rate of your ramp value may be adjusted.
- Adding a snubber circuit would dampen voltage and thereby controlling slew rate of ramp.
- Implementing an external ramp with the desired ramp value.
- In some of our ICs there are registers in which the ramp value may be adjusted.
But in order to converge on a solution, what part are you using? If you provide a part number, we may find a more specific solution to this issue.
