/RST pin of MP2722

I’m using MP2722 right now. I understand that /RST among the MP2722’s pins is not a System Reset of the MP2722. Is there any problem in using MP2722 even if I don’t use this pin?

Thanks for reaching out on the MPS Forum. If you do not need the below functionality of the /RST pin, you can leave floating.

Battery MOSFET reset input
During shipping mode, pull this pin to logic low for a set time (tSHIPMODE) to wake up the IC from shipping mode.

When the input voltage (VIN) is not present, setting this pin to logic low for a set time (tRST) resets the SYS power by turning the battery MOSFET off for a set time (tSYS_RST). Then
the battery MOSFET is re-enabled.
