There appears to be a discrepancy between the layout guidelines in the latest MPM3830 datasheet (Rev 1.21) and what’s listed in DC/DC Designer (also the latest, version 3.18). One maximizes the ground plane, where the other splits the plane between ground and “Out”. Which setup is preferred?
