I am doing a review of a parts list from a customer for a system that has a radiation environment requirement (natural and weapon environment). I am looking for any radiation effects data on the MP2276 or any other device that has similar internal active components. I saw one topic where you talked about a neutron test of the MP8859 and had to change one of the internal components to make it radiation tolerant. Can you provide any details on this issue, like the internal part number that had to be replaced (can you at least give me the technology or device type). Can you tell me the neutron level that the part failed at and the neutron level it passed once you replace the internal part. Do you have any other radiation effects data you can share that would be representative of the MP2276? Any information you can provide would be useful.
Hi Brian,
Thanks for reaching out to MPS. In general we don’t typically do any sort of radiation testing/hardening of our products. We have had customers take our parts and do the radiation testing in an independent laboratory themselves.
We do conducted or radiated emissions for EMI testing on many of our products.
Thanks,
George
Do you have any radiation information on the MPM3515GQV-P, MPM3650CGQW-Z, and the MPM3834CGPA-Z. I will take any radiation data on these products, natural or weapon environments. In addition, if you do not have radiation effects data but know of customers that may have tested these products, can you send me a point of contact at your customer that I can contact to see if they would be willing to share the data or the results. Thanks, Brian
