Question Regarding MP6631H Chip Replacement on EV6631H-L-00A

Hi,

Thank you so much for your previous answers regarding the EV6631H-L-00A. I really appreciate it.

I’ve finally borrowed the Fan-Driver-Com-kit-2.0 (I’m not exactly sure who the contact person is for this kit) and have been running various tests.
Suddenly, things went awry. After checking, it seems the MP6631H chip on my EV6631H board is damaged (communication works, but the motor rotation isn’t like it was initially).

I’m wondering if I can simply get a standalone MP6631H chip and replace it, and then be able to communicate with the Fan-Driver-Com-kit-2.0.
Someone told me that standalone MP6631H chips can’t communicate with the Fan-Driver-Com-kit-2.0, so I’m asking to clarify this information.
If that’s incorrect and a standalone MP6631H chip is indeed the same, I’d like to try to acquire one.

Sefini

Hi
Actually, just based on the answer, it seems I could get the individual chips through the local representative here. However, since you asked me to fill out the “Contact MPS” form, I’ve written down my questions.
