The MP2696A’s datasheet packaging information seems to be wrong.
Shouldn’t the pin 1 marking be on the left in the recomended land pattern image?

Hi Pablo,
Pin 1 should be on the left (PGND) as you note.
It looks like the land pattern image has misplaced the pin 1 marking on pin 15. Make sure to note this for your own schematic and layout.

The circle is not for showing pin 1 location. It is for clarifying the “0.1x45 TYP”.

You are right. The circle shows the pad chanfer, not the pin 1.
