Looks like this is a TSOT23-6 package IC. Based on the top marking, and working with our QA team to identify this, this IC would be the following:
MP3120 | 1.2A, 1.1MHz Synchronous Boost Converter with Output Disconnect | MPS
Please verify this by measuring the input and output voltages if this IC is operational.

thank you very much, unfortunately the IC is not operational and I need a replacement.
But the description seems to be matching. The IC is on a laser measuring tool with 2 x 1.5V AAA batteries.
