Part recommendation needed - Single Cell with i2c & otp, without regulated power path

Hello,

We’re looking to charge a single cell for another product, and are looking for solutions without a regulated power path management, or no power path management at all. It should contain basic OTP for charged voltage and input current, and I2C control.

The regulated voltages from most MPS parts that I see are not any usable voltage for us and we already use the most efficient buck / boost regulator all in one to 3.3v we could find. Regulating, to regulate, is not effective for us.

What is your input voltage? What is your desired charging current?

@eduardo.FAE Input voltage is typically 5v and it would be ideal if the charging current could be adjusted via i2c, and would be in the range of 200-400mA.

Hello? Anyone from MPS?

Hello kevin2,

Please look into MP2710.

This has a recommended voltage input range upto 5.5V and an adjustable charging current over i2c.

Hi @eduardo.FAE, thanks I’ll take a look.
