Part recommendation for a Power Bank

Hi,
I’m designing a power bank with the following features:

  • Input: 5VDC/2A wall power supply
  • Battery: 1 Li-Ion Cell
  • Output:
    a) Input is present: the output should charge the connected device to 2 Amps max. If output current drops it should start charging the internal battery (output priority).
    b) Input is not present: the output should be 5V 4 Amps max (battery boost)

Could you recommend a part that can meet these requeriments?
Sorry, there are too many parts, I’m a little lost.

Thank you

Hello pablo.liberman,

The MP2696A | I2C-Controlled, Single-Cell Switching Charger with Power-Path Management and 3.6A Boost Output should be appropriate for your use. Please reach out to MPS NOW Remote Support to get more support.
