Parallel configuration

Good morning, I would like to ask if there is any solution to monitor a 3S3P battery pack. As far as I have understood from the documentation the ADC readings of the cells are 0-5V, so it is not possible to monitor a supercell formed by 3 cells.
So the only existing solution would be to use 3 ICs for each pack in series or is there any other proposal?

Thanks

Hey! Monitoring a 3S3P (3 series, 3 parallel) battery pack involves overcoming the challenge of accurately measuring each cell’s voltage within the pack.

While the ADC readings typically have a range of 0-5V, adapting this to monitor multiple cells requires some ingenuity. One common solution is to use dedicated battery management ICs (Integrated Circuits) designed for multi-cell monitoring. These ICs can manage and monitor each cell’s voltage individually within the pack, providing accurate readings for each.

Alternatively, you could employ multiple ADC channels, each dedicated to monitoring a specific cell or a group of cells within the pack. This approach would require careful circuit design to ensure accuracy and safety. Ultimately, the choice depends on factors like cost, complexity, and the specific requirements of your application.
