NTC connection necessary for MP2759?

As the title says, is it necessary to connect the NTC pin? what if i dont want to use that? do i connect it to GND or leave floating?

Since there are faults that can be triggered at the NTC pin, you will still need to connect resistors to NTC even if you aren’t using it. Use a resistive divider from VCC to NTC, then NTC to GND like the image below. The resistors’ values can both be 1Mohm or larger to satisfy this requirement.
