Negative input/output switcher

I’m trying to find a solution that would take a negative input (-24V) and be able to output a less negative output (-1.5V to -18V @ 2 Amps) depending on resistor settings. Essentially the inverse of a typical DC-DC switcher. Are there any options out there that could accomplish this?

Hello,

Typically when we see negative voltages the system has a positive input, I have not ran into an application where a negative voltage gets converted to a lower negative voltage.

We currently only have positive to negative solutions - such as the MPM3572 or the MP5610

Hi Jonathan,
Thanks for your reply. I do have a positive supply ( +24V ), but do to the implementation, it would be much less efficient to go from +24V to -18V, at 2A output. Also, the control would be be harder to implement for my application. As I’ve not found a negative to less negative switching solution, I’ll have to figure out a different approach.
Kind Regards,
Kevin
