NB685 : 3.3V VOUT design circuit

How to design a circuit with 3.3V VOUT voltage?
The application circuit in Figure 17 needs to adjust those values, and how to calculate them?

Hello jasperc,

Vout of 3.3V is an edge case, so the special application circuit would still work, however it is within the recommended operating conditions, so it isn’t necessary to achieve an output of 3.3V.

The resistor setup attached to the SW and the FB will depend on what your input voltage is and whether you need an external ramp. Please refer to the Application Information section of the data to select the configuration and to calculate the component values.

Note 3 on figure 17 recommends using external resistors on the VDDQ pin to make sure the VDDQ voltage does not exceed 3.3V. Since the output is 3.3V you may be able to get away with not adding a voltage divider to step down the voltage.

I hope this was helpful.

Thank you,
