Is there a way to disable AAM mode on the MPQ9846 to improve EMI (“forced PWM mode” as called by other manufactures)? The datasheet says pulling SYNC low before turn-on will enable it, but doesn’t mention any details about disabling it. I’d think SYNC to VCC at turn-on would do it, but the datasheet says tie SYNC to GND if not used. Please clarify.
Hello! It is not possible to disable AAM mode for this device. On pg. 9 and 10 of the DS are figures detailing that the device can meet CISPR25 EMI emissions, if implementing EMI filters.
