MPQ5862 : Multiple registers read returns 0x82

Hi, Can you please help with this issue? Our board bring up is stuck because of this issue.

  1. any register we read we always get only 0x82 as the value. We have read (0x01, 0x02, 0x03, 0x04) all the registers returned 0x82 as the value.

  2. To rule out any SW issue we probed the I2C lines; they also provide the same data.

  3. I2C write works, we say this because we are able to power up the cameras by writing the proper value to 0x01 register.
