[MPQ5862] How to detect VDD over voltage and under voltage

Hi, I would like to know information about the below 2 points:

  1. How to detect the VDD over-voltage error in the MPQ5862?
  2. Does ADC3 converts the VDD voltage?

Hi @shyam.rao ,

  1. VDD is the 3.3V logic power input (ADC + other logic circuits). There is no detection for VDD overvoltage. However, there is detection for VIN overvoltage, which is the main power rail input.
  2. Yes, per the below table:

Ok. so that means there is no direct mechanism in the HSS to indicate VDD over-voltage error. But I can use ADC3 to check the VDD voltage level and indicate any over/under voltage errors based on the conversion. Is this understanding correct..?
