Hi, for a project I’m using the MPQ5068GQV-AEC1 component. I find that if is applied a Voltage of 12Vdc to the VOUT pins (with EN pin voltage =0V) this voltage can measured to VIN pins as if the VOUT and VIN pins were short circuited. Why?
Thank you.
Hello,
Hot-swap protection is suppose to protect components downstream from inrush current at the input.
I don’t believe it was designed to block in both directions.
Unless there is an external short, I believe that the voltage you are seeing is caused by the internal FET’s body diode conducting.
I hope this helps.
