MPQ4571GQBE-AEC1 - 3.3V Output Circuit for 24VDC Automotive ECU Application

Hello,
Can you please suggest a Typical Application Circuit with EMI Filters for using MPQ4571GQBE-AEC1 in a 24VDC Automotive ECU Application.

  1. Are the filters as shown in page 29 recommended for 3.3V Output or any changes in the values recommended.
  2. Furthermore, would the filters be sufficient for Automotive Application, or any addition would be recommended.
  3. Also, in the datasheet, values of FB resistors R1 & R2 are mentioned. Can you recommend values for R3 as well ( R6 in case of Typical Application Circuit with EMI Filters as shown on Page 29 of datasheet).

Hi,

The circuit with EMI Filters in page 29 is a typical application circuit for 5V output. But you can just change R5 to 13k to make the output 3.3V.

And the filters is sufficient for Automotive Application.

The resistors (R6 + R4) set the loop bandwidth with the internal compensation capacitor. Choose R4 to be 41.2k, then R6 can be 20k. To ensure loop stability, it is strongly recommended to limit the bandwidth below 1/10 of the switching frequency, and no higher than 100kHz.
