MPQ4242 OTP Password

Hi there,

We’re using the MPQ4242BGVE-0000-AEC1 with the EVQ4242B-VE-00A to build a USB-PD test setup, and we’d like to commit our register config to OTP in-house (via a USB-to-I²C bridge running our own scripts).

The datasheet description of OTP_PROGRAM (bit 7 of CTL_SYS18, 0x2F) says:

A password is required before using the OTP.

But the password itself isn’t described anywhere we can find. Could you share:

  1. The unlock sequence before setting OTP_PROGRAM = 1.

  2. Confirmation of VIN during the burn — IC datasheet says 12 V, EVK datasheet says 13.5 V.
