Hi,
we would like to test thermal propertise of the eval board when external MOSFET is on.
According to the data sheet the RdsON settings must be close to the real RdsON @10V.
Since the MOSFET data sheet features typical and maximum values for the RdsON , given at 25° and 125°C , could you suggest what value should be set in the register CTL_SYS16 (0x2D), bits 4-6 EXT_HS_FET_RON?

Apologies for the delayed response, bandwidth has been tight.
As the datasheet says, the EXT_HS_FET_RON should be as close to the in-application RDSon as possible. Reading the datasheet, you have a typical RDSon of 5-6.1 mOhms. Therefore, I would suggest that you have the EXT_HS_FET_RON = 0b001, corresponding to 5mOhms.
This is assuming you won’t be operating close to the max temp thresholds close to 125 degrees Celsius.
