MPQ4214 output voltage change

Hi there!
I would like to change the output voltage, but without disabling it. The user manual there is method for it, but it mentioned to write ENPWR bit to 0 first (then write Vref, set Go_BIT=1 and then write ENPWR to 1).
Is it possible not to set the ENPWR bit to 0 before (or under) the change?
I would like keep always on the output voltage so the ENPWR bit should be 1.

Is there any problem for this method?
In the USP PD protocol the output voltage couldn’t drop beetween PDO changes, this is the main reason for the question.

Hello Bence,

Kindly refer to the “Output Voltage Setting” section of the DS to find the equation to set the output voltage. You have the option to change the output voltage without disabling it by changing the reference voltage value with I2C communication.
You can also play around with it using our evaluation kit.
