Hi Sir
Could MPS provide the thermal model (.pdml format) or any tool for thermal simulation? Or MPS can provide the power loss as setting below?
- Vin = 12V
- Vout = 3.3V
- Switching frequency = 750kHz
- Load current is 2.5A/3.3A for each loop
I just found this snapshot from the spec, but this setting is not what we want.

Hey Tim,
It looks as if the MPM54524 doesn’t have any curves characterized at Vin = 12V, Vout = 3.3V, and where Fsw = 750kHz.
However, generally the switching losses increase with a higher switching frequency, so it would be expected that the power loss would be where Vout = 3.3V @ Fsw = 750kHz would be somewhere in between the yellow and blue curves. You can use the data here as a worst-case approximation.
Of course, you could try running some simulations using the MPSmart tool as well. You can find the model online under the design tab on the following link:

Hope this provided some insight.
