I am using the MPM3698-0000, and I have an external pull-up resistor connected to the VRRDY pin. However, the VRRDY pin stays Low even when the output voltage is correct.
When I changed Rail2 → POWER GOOD MODE from the default Intel mode to POL mode, VRRDY started outputting High as expected once the output voltage was correct.
My question is:
Is this configuration change actually required?
Since this IC has only a single output, I originally assumed that all Rail2-related settings could remain at their default values, so I did not modify any other Rail2 parameters.
If changing the PG mode is necessary, are there any other Rail2 settings that also need to be adjusted from the defaults?
