MPM3695GRF-25-0020 maximum allowable CFF capacity

Dear
I’d like to inquire about the maximum allowable CFF capacity of the “MPM3695GRF-25-0020.”
The output is 1.8V.

It is not specified in the datasheet.

Thank you

Firstly, I would like to ask if this is a current design or if this is a new design. For new designs, MPS recommends using the following module:

MPM3695-20 | 3V to 16V Input, Continuous 25A Power Module | MPS

But secondly to answer your question about the max Cff value, I understand that the only mention of the feedforward capacitor in the MPM3695-25 datasheet is the following:

The same information is repeated in the MPM3695-20 datasheet as well by the way. These Cff values have been optimized based on transient response performance based on each Vout threshold where 1.8Vout and below, 33nF should be the Cff value. I wouldn’t deviate past 50nF from this value.

Dear Krishan

Thank you for your support.

We’re already working on the design.
We’ll also look into the “MPM3695-20.”

Hello Henry,

When you say you are working on the design here, does that mean you are still using the MPM3695-25? Just wanted to confirm.

Dear Krishan

It’s been applied to the first prototype board and is being tested. We’re working on resolving the issue.

Please help me solve this problem.

Thank you

I would simply recommend using the MPM3695-20 which may require a change in layout as the package sizes are very different between these two modules.
