MPM3695-20 in dual phase configuration

I plan to use MPM3695-20 in dual phase configuration, but I don’t understand from the datasheet how to setup this configuration via PMBUS. Is this simply two identical devices at different I2C addresses and their outputs are connected while operation is using dual phases when connected like shown typical application ?

I included a screenshot that shows how to connect the devices. Notice the pass-take pins and addr. Page 18-19 cover this in a bit more detail. Page 26 states that in multi-phase they should have the same address resistor.

I think you also need to set the devices to multi-phase in the EAh register with bit 3.
