MPM3695-10 with VOUT=0.5V

Hello,
I have a question about the VOUT setting for the module MPM3695-10.

The datasheet gives examples of VOUT always higher than the VREF, but in my applications I need to set the output voltage between 0.5V and 0.65V (through PMBUS).

How do I need to select the feedback resistor in this case?

Thanks in advance.

Hello,
Welcome to the forum.
It is actually not possible for Vout to be less than Vref. So, you need to adjust Vref (default value = 0.6V).
On page 21 of DS (link below), you can find that Vref is automatically adjusted according to Vout and Gfb.
So, you can just connect VOSNS to VOUT without any resistor divider, set VOUT_SCALE_LOOP to 1V/V and VOUT_COMMAND to 0.5V.

Thank you Yash.

So, I haveto connect the VOSNS+ directly to VOUT and set the VREF to my desired voltage output.
Since I need to dynamically adjust the output voltage through the PMBUS depending on the load requirements, I’ll adjust the VREF accordingly, right?

Another question, are there simulation models available for this part?

Thank you.

Hello,
Yes, keep in mind that the range for VREF is 0.5 to 0.672V as specified in the datasheet.
Unfortunately, we don’t have the simulation files for this part.
