Mpm3695-10 connecting NC pins 16,17,18

I am using MPM3695GMQ-10 IC in my design.
The datasheet says pins 16-18 Not connected. Keep this pin floating.
But in the example of the PCB trace, these pins are connected to the PGND net.
Is this a valid solution?

Please keep the NC pins floating, the example layout may look a little confusing with connections to PGND, but please float the NC pins.
