Hi support team.

We would like to supply an external 3.3V to MPM3690-50B Vcc pin to increase light load efficiency.

I would like to check if there is any power-up sequence requirement between Vin, Vcc & EN pins?
The internal 3.3V output is enabled by the EN pin or following Vin?

Can supply an external 3.3V after MPM3690-50B is operated with DC-DC output? (i.e. MPM3690-50B using internal Vcc at the beginning of power up, after complete system power up sequencing with another DC-DC does 3.3V rail output then supply this 3.3V back to MPM3690-50B Vcc pin. The external 3.3v does forward diode connected to MPM3690-50B Vcc pin to prevent overload that internal 3.3V to outside circuitry.)

Hello Ping,

There isn’t any sequencing requirements that I am aware of between Vin, Vcc and EN.

The 3.3V to Vcc provides power for the power control, however this pin can be floated so it is capable of generating the 3.3V by itself. It should be fine to provide an external 3.3V after MPM3690-50B is operating.
