Hi
Is it allowed to have a voltage between 5V-8.4V at the output (Pin9-12) when the MPM3650 is not active/running?
Or will the MPM3650 be destroyed?

Hi Miguel,
Thank you for contacting the MPS Forum. The MPM3650 is meant to output only 5V and cannot handle backwards power from the output inwards toward the device. I believe you could experience some issues if you were to allow the part to see 5-8.4V on the output when not active or running. I would suggest you add some circuitry to disconnect the MPM3650 output from your other power source.
