MPM3620. NC pins

Hello!
I suspect I made a mistake on my PCB. The IC heats up to 70 degrees C.

Pins 19 (NC) and 20 (NC) were connected to the footprint, as shown in the datasheet (recommended land pattern). But in the footprint shown on the website, these pins are separated.

I unsoldered the IC and measured the resistance between PGND and pin 19, between PGND and pin 20, then they are different.

Hi xard555,

Please follow the recommended keep out area on the PCB land pattern for MPM3620. If there is none, it can lead to improper device operation. These pins are used for internal purposes.

Regards,
Vinh Tran

Thank you, vinh.tran! I carefully looked at the last page of the datasheet again and understood. In the middle of the land pattern there is not a contact pad, but a forbidden region.
