What is a proper procedure to change the output voltage mode of the MPM3596 device from I2C to external resistor settings. What register should be changed and should the module be enabled or disabled during this procedure.
To change the output voltage mode of the MPM3596 from I2C to external resistor settings, you will need to make sure register D2h (MFR_VOUT_CTRL) has bit set to 0 to enable the use of an external voltage divider. This can be done over I2C using the dongle and the Virtual Bench Pro 3.0 GUI. Once bit is changed, you will need to go to register 01h (Operation) to disable the part before adjusting the feedback voltage bits[2:0] in register D2h.
