MPM3530, input-output voltage

Hello,
MPM3530 can be working pass thru?
Example:
12 IN → 11.9 OUT -(11.9 becasue losses on HIside mosfet and inductor)
It will be safe operation ?

MPM3530 can be configured to output 12V. Please refer to the typical application circuit below.
