MPM3509 max. ambient temperature

Hello ,

Good day .

I have a question on the calculation of any ambient temperature on MPM3509 datasheet, it states that Pd(max)=(Tj(max)-Ta)/θja , in page 3, note 3), is this Tj(max) equal to absolute Junction temperature 150C or max. operating junction temperature 125C ?

Hi Jianjun, and welcome to the forum.

We recommend to stay within the recommended operating conditions for the device, so you can use 125C for typical use case calculations to understand the maximum power dissipation.
