MPF42790 Does Not Increment SoC when Fed Positive Current

Hello there,

We are using the MPF42790 as a battery SOC estimate chip. Right now we are testing the functionality of the IC by sending it fake data via I2C. Upon startup we see the SOC was at 100%, then we feed it negative current upon which SOC decreases as expected until SOC reaches 0%. However, once 0% was reached, all subsequent power cycles showed SoC reading 0% and does not increment when we fed it positive current.

Please let us know if there is any sample code for reference or any known issue with this IC that may be useful for this issue, and if there is any GUI that we could request that would be perfect too.

FG takes into account voltage measurements along w/ current, therefore I am curioius as to how the IC was implemented in your system, and what the data looked like.
