MP9928 FB pin of slave controller in dual phase design

Hi, I’m designing a multiphase buck converter with MP9928 and I have a question.

What should I do with the FB pin of the slave controller? If I understand correctly, the error amplifier of the master controller is electrically connected to the PWM generator of the slave controller through a common compensation circuit (COMP pin), and the error amplifier of the slave controller is turned off when the synchronization signal is applied. So I can leave the FB pin of the slave controller floating?

Thanks in advance.

Hello tikila4117,

The MP9928 is not designed to be used in a multi-phase configuration. MPS IC’s that can be paralleled will have specific sections and typical application schematics listed in the datasheet.

Can you please share your buck design specs? I can help find a solution for you.
