MP9841GL-P second SW Pin

Hello,
datasheet of MP9841 says that Pin 3 and Pin 10 are connected to SW (switch node).
In the recommended layout of the datasheet and in the layout of the evaluation board, the second SW Pin (Pin 3) is left floating in the layout, but connected to SW in the schematic.

Is it recommended to left Pin 3 floating?

Thanks for posting on the MPSNow Forum.
SW is most likely connected internally in the part. You can test this using a multimeter. If it’s internally connected, you can leave pin 3 floating.
