MP9486A sudden power drop

Hi,

I am using an MP9486A DC-DC converter with an input voltage range of 40-60 VDC. I need a 12 VDC output with a continuous current of 500 mA for an automotive application.

I followed the sample schematic diagram provided in the datasheet for a 12 VDC output, but I am getting random voltage drops from 12VDC to around 6 VDC during operation. The voltage then recovers to 12 VDC, and this cycle repeats. I have observed that the IC does not overheat or consume overcurrent.

I have attached the schematic diagram I designed. Please provide a proper solution for this issue.

The datasheet suggests tieing EN and DIM together, it looks like you have it floating

Even if EN and DIM pins are tied together, there is no any change in the output side power drop issue,
