MP8862 - shutdown and quiescent current draw

The MP8862 buck-boost converter can be enabled/disabled using either the hardware EN pin or the software EN bit in the CTL1 register.
If the part is disabled using the software EN bit, will the current draw be 1mA typical as described in the Supply current (quiescent) parameter? Or will it be 3uA max as described in the Supply current (shutdown) parameter?

Thanks for your help.

Hi Scott,

From the CTL1 Register table on page 26 of the MP8862 datasheet, it states in order for I2C to be active, the external EN pin must be high.

When the EN pin is pulled high, the current draw will be 1mA typ. To attain the 3uA shutdown current, EN pin must be low.

Thanks,
Cindy
