May I know how does the efficiency curve for MP8862 looks like at 5V input voltage?

Thanks for your question.
We do not have the efficiency curve for a 5V input.
However, since we know efficiency = Pout/Pin, if you keep the same Vout, efficiency will improve with a lower input voltage.
Expect the efficiency curve to improve by a few % with a 5V input.

For example: 5V boost to 9V

Hi yd.chen,

We can expect a similar efficiency curve for the 5V to 9V boost as the 12V to 20V curve already shown in the datasheet. This is due to the duty cycles being similar already. The 5V to 9V curve may have a slightly higher percentage due to what Cindy has already noted.
