On the MP8763 (NRFND) site there is a link indicating “Alternative Part”. However, I get no response on clicking that button.
What alternative do you suggest, for a redesign with 12V input, 5V output, 9A max load, overcurrent protected, with enable, soft start and PGOOD, about 750kHz switching frequency?

The alternative part for MP8763 is MP8772 which matches your required specs. It has a fixed switching frequency of 700kHz.
